Sangha - Venerable Abbess Yi LaiVenerable Yi-Lai, Bhikkuni of Chinese Mahayana Buddhism, Dharma name, Xin Xi(心西) (號依來). Born in 1946 in Yi-Lan County, Taiwan, she graduated from Taipei Ladies Education College (台北女子師專), then served at the Fo Guang Shan Ta Tzu orphanage (大慈育幼院) since 1979.
BLIABLIA stands for Buddha's Light International Association a world wide organisation formed in 1991. Today branches are to be found in 27 countries including USA, Africa, Malaysia France, Thailand, Canada, UK as well as Australia. Millions of members not only provide a bridge for religious and cultural exchange between people of the East and West but also fulfil the ideals of Buddhism.

BLIA-YADBLIA-YAD is the abbreviated form of the Buddha's Light International Association - Young Adult Division, and we are part of a greater global Buddhist organization called Buddha's Light International Association (BLIA).
