The Online Light Offering is more than just a virtual offering. When you make an offering online, a physical light will also be lit in the Main Shrine of Nan Tien Temple, mirroring the traditional Light Offering conducted on-site.
How do I use the Online Light Offering Service?
To begin, visit the Online Light Offering website (light.nantien.org.au) and select the type of light you wish to offer. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to complete your Light Offering process.
Do I need to create an account to offer a light?
No, creating an account is optional. You can offer lights as a guest without registration. However, for the convenience of tracking your offering's status, we highly recommend registering as a member to access our user panel.

Can I write wishes on the light that I offer?
Our Light of Wishes provides space for you to leave blessings and wishes to your loved ones.
Will I receive a souvenir for my online Light of Hope offering?
Yes, we invite you to visit the MainShrine of Nan Tien Temple to collect your souvenir, which is available upon presenting your confirmation email.
What payment methods can I use for the Online Light Offering?
We accept MasterCard, VISA and UnionPay for the Online Light Offering. Transactions are securely handled by Commonwealth Bank, and we do not retain any personal banking information.
How can I share the light I have offered?
Once you have made your offering, a Donation Card displaying your donation number and a photo of your offered light will appear on the screen. Simply click on "Download my light" button to download the card, which you can share (see the screenshot below) with others. Additionally, both you and the beneficiary will receive an email containing the donation details and a personalised animation of the Light Offering.
How do I share the Online Light Offering service with my friends?
There are three ways for you to share Nan Tien Temple Online Light Offering Service :
Method 1: Copy and paste the Online Light Offering website link (light.nantien.org.au). Share the link with your friends via email or your social media account.
Method 2: After your donation page, click on the Share Icon of the social media (e.g., Facebook, WhatsApp, LINE,) and share with your friends. See the screenshot below.
Method 3: After offering a light, you will receive a confirmation email. Click the banner at the footer of the email. Follow the guided steps and share the Nan Tien Temple Online Light Offering Service with your friends.
