Meditation Classes in Wollongong – Beginners & Intermediate 

 

Experience the benefits of meditation at Nan Tien Temple Wollongong as part of the Temple’s regular cultivation program. Our classes for beginners and intermediate practitioners are held on Wednesdays in 6-week terms, running four times a year, and are designed to help you feel calmer, more joyful, and inwardly clear. 

 

What is Meditation? 
Meditation is a practical practice for cultivating mindfulness, inner calm, and clarity in daily life. Guided by Buddhist principles, these classes introduce simple techniques to settle the mind, relax the body, and develop present-moment awareness. 

 

Who is it for? 
Beginners Meditation Class: New to meditation? This class gives you simple, guided instruction to get started with ease and confidence.
Intermediate Meditation Class: Have some experience with meditation? This class helps you deepen your practice, refine your technique, and explore more advanced methods.

Each Wednesday, both classes follow a structured, balanced format that combines gentle physical movement (moving meditation) with contemplative sitting meditation. Classes are guided in a calm, supportive environment, allowing participants to learn and practise at their own pace.
