A story that becomes a practice.

What if a children's story could become more than a story?

Created by Nan Tien Temple, the Bodhi Series takes children from the pages of a book into guided meditation, mindful practice and interactive activities — giving children, parents and teachers different ways to experience mindfulness together.

In today's busy and digitally connected world, children have many things competing for their attention. The Bodhi Series offers simple, engaging ways to slow down, notice how they feel, develop attention and practise kindness — skills they can carry into everyday life.

The series currently brings together four connected resources: a picture book, a meditation companion, a meditation cushion and an app.

*Start with a Story

Commissioned by Nan Tien Temple, Seeking Treasure with Bodhi is a children's picture book written by award-winning children's author Karen Hendriks and illustrated by Emma Stuart.

Through the adventures of Sila and Chan with Bodhi, children explore mindfulness, meditation and wisdom while discovering a different kind of treasure — the qualities we can cultivate within ourselves.

* Turn the Story into Practice

Little Bodhi is a meditation companion with a built-in audio player and 18 guided meditation tracks. Children can explore breathing, gratitude, loving-kindness, relaxation and mindful movement — turning ideas from the story into simple practices they can use in everyday life.

*Make Space to Pause

The Bodhi Meditation Cushion creates a dedicated space for children to sit, read, breathe, meditate or simply pause — making mindfulness a tangible part of their daily routine.

*Keep Exploring with Bodhi

The Bodhi App extends the experience beyond the book and physical resources, bringing together meditations, simple games & activities and reflective questions that children can explore independently or with parents and teachers at home or in the classroom.
