Community Care - A spiritual and environmental practice
In Rev. Bill Crews life and work we see the heart of community care in action.
Let us be inspired and strengthened in uncertain times!
From Ashfield in Sydney NSW the Rev. Bill Crews Foundation has served over 3 million meals to the hungry, and provides a healthcare clinic, and social welfare and education support. Rev. Crews has a radio program every Sunday night and just this month has released his book, ‘12 Rules for Living a Better Life’.
We are honoured to have the opportunity to hear Rev. Crews on 5th June at the Nan Tien 2030 Campaign workshop. No doubt you will be heartened and lifted by his story and what has flowed from this community care work.
As we attend to this community care, we will see how we are held in care, and how we put care into action. We will explore how community care is foundational to our spiritual and environmental practice. It is an essential part of a reliable way forward that we can have confidence in.
